January Updates
Happy New Year, may it be a safe and successful one for you.
RED TAPE.
I occasionally hear comments from organisations (and the government) that health and safety Red Tape is a problem. It can be a problem when your health and safety systems, processes or training are not well informed and/or implemented.
Inadequate advice, processes or awareness can result in:
· Trying to apply generic documents to specific needs with frustrating outcomes;
· Massively complicated procedures based on a grab bag of Googled information;
· Risk assessment processes that are not robust, reliable, or repeatable;
· Good health and safety performance being based on chance, not good management;
· Frustration, stress and avoidable costs.
If you are suffering from any of the above and would like to turn your red tape concerns into positive and logical management practices, please contact us for assistance.
